Do you mean an individual photo or do you mean the photo button on the detailed page of your property?

I have one other report of a problem with the photo button loading the box off centre. It is rare and shouldn't affect many people. Less than 1% If you can send me a screenshot ctrl - printscreen ... open a picture editor and paste it in...I'd be happy to take a look and see if you are experiencing the same problem.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for your help with that. Yes... it is exactly the same problem that 1 other person reported to me.
I have tested on several different computers , operating systems and browsers and I can't manage to reproduce the error myself so I am assuming it is reasonably rare.

The other person told me that it only happened on one of his computers and the others evrything was fine.

I'll work on it when I find a bit of time.

Thanks for alerting me. If anyone else can see the same problem I'd be grateful if you let me know.

Just to narrow it down a bit more Mike,

When you are on a department page like
http://www.chambresdhotes.org/Chambres_D_Hotes/Aude_Chambres_D_Hotes/

what happens when you click on the little button "agrandir photo" or "contact proprietaire"

Do you see the same problem?

I'm going to have a look on my wife's laptop and see if it's the same, she has Vista I have XP, who knows??
I also have Linux Suse on another hard disk, will see what that gives!

Great, thanks. I'd love to narrow it down. I just spent 6 weeks away and I must have looked on a 100 computers and I never saw this problem... but then I wan't really looking for it.

Here it is:
XP IE = half a picture
XP Firefox= picture OK
Linux Firefox= picture OK
Vista Family Edition= picture OK

Seems to come from Internet Explorer in XP, I tried to change screen size and font size but no luck!

No..changing screen size won't make any difference as it is a postioning in the screen size.

I'm on XP IE7 and it's fine and I just checked my old Comp on IE6 and XP and no problem.
I'm pretty sure it is very isolated but I'll continue looking into it.

I have IE7 also, I checked 4/5 ads and all the pictures pop-up half way, what do you use, flash, java??

It's javascript and css but it is not easy to fix as it is browser related and is probably something specific to very few examples. The risk is that you break it for 99% of people to fix it for 1% Smile

Yes.... if you see it on one page it will be the same for every page as it is the same script throughout.

eyup andy, i have the same problem when trying to look at the added photos they are bottom right so you do not get the full picture, i have to close to 75% to see them so potential clients may not think of this

I never got to the bottom of this problem although i spent a couple of hours on it about a year ago.

To be honest I have 5 different systems with the 15 most used versions (which accounts for 99.5% of visitors) and I have never managed to recreate the prob so I'm assuming it is rare and will get even more rare as people move to newer browsers (i hope)

Just out of interest give me your Operating sytem and browser plus the version of browser

For example IE8 or firefox 3.1 and I'll take another look when time permits Smile
