The « gite » ( self catering) which has undergone a period of restoration and complete refurbishment is located in an 18th century beneath the medieval city of Loches in the south of the Loire Valley (Indre and Loire). Its geographic situation allows very easlily the visit of the main chateaus of the « vallée de la Loire » : (Chenonceaux, Villandry, Amboise, Chaumont sur Loire Chinon…).

The living room and kitchen are located on the ground- floor. French windows give access to a private terrace which overlooks the river and a magnificent park.
Steps lead down to the river and to a second terrace.

The two bed rooms are on the first floor and share a common bath room. The larger double bed room has a small balcony giving on to the river and the park. There are twin beds in the second bedroom.The self catering can therefore sleep 2 very comfortably. .The restoration of the gite has respected the preservation of period features and is furnished with elegance and attention to detail.
The local authorities have recognised the hjgh degree of quality of this accommodation in granting a « 4 star label ».
