Il y a deux villes, Bretenoux et Biars, à environ 4 kilomètres, qui ont une diversité de boutiques et des supermarchés. Il y a aussi un cinéma à Biars qui projette des films dans différentes langues dont l’anglais. Il y a trois bons restaurants auxquels on peut se rendre à pied. Il y a une piscine à Biars et un parc aquatique à Tauriac. C’est idéal pour faire de la randonnée car l’Auvergne est à une demi-heure en voiture. Une station de ski, Le Lioran, peut être atteinte en une heure et demie en voiture ou bien en train à partir de la gare de Biars. Des Quad peuvent être loués dans les environs, ainsi que des canoës pour des expéditions sur la Dordogne et la Cère. La ville de St Céré est à 8 kilomètres et accueille une festival de musique et d’arts en Juillet/Août.
