La Groge is conveniently situated between Montmorillon and Chauvigny, a restored 150 yr old farmhouse, set in the middle of 30 acres of mixed woodland and pasture with a 2 acre fishing lake. The location is very peaceful and quiet and yet only 5 minutes away from a full range of restaurants and shops.
During your stay you are welcome to stroll around the grounds, meet the fallow deer, horses and other animals, use the terrace overlooking the lake and should you wish, fish the lake.
The lake is well stocked with carp, barbel, tench, etc. Rods can be hired if necessary. As keen anglers we can also advise on other lakes and rivers in the local area.
