LE RENARD is a beautifully restored farmhouse situated in the peaceful hamlet of St.Citroine and is a perfect base to explore the Loire Valley with all its magnificent chateaux, gastronomy and endless vineyards and sunflower fields. The village of Bournand is a short distance away, where you will find a boulangerie, patisserie, local shop and an excellent restaurant. Tours, Chinon, Fontevraud, Azay-le-Rideau and Saumur are all within easy reach and Poitiers (Futuroscope) a 40 minute drive. Center Parcs - Le domaine du Bois aux Daims in Morton is a 10 minute drive away. Château de la Mothe Chandeniers is a 15 minute drive away. We can offer one spacious double room (Chambre Vert) and a family suite - one spacious double room with a separate children's room next door. Our maximum capacity for a group is up to 4 adults and 2 children with a luxurious bathroom. If you require just one room, the other rooms will not be available in order to ensure you have a private bathroom. Nearby - golf, karting, fishing, walking, wine tasting in the local vineyards and restaurants. You can even enjoy a hot air balloon ride across the Loire Valley. Owners speak English with some French, but you can book in French by email.
