Description of B&B:

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee in the morning leading you to our beautiful terrace for breakfast, your table overlooking the 15th century Bridge and the medieval town of Confolens.
Sit under the weeping willow beside the waters edge, contemplating the day ahead.

CONFOLENS is situated on the banks of the river Vienne in the CHARENTE region... a land of oak and granite filled with rivers and wooded valleys. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty... a photographer and artists dream. The climate in this region is second only to the South of France. There many walks and cycle rides through miles of unspoilt countryside.
Confolens is situated 60-70 km from the airports’ of Limoges, Poitiers and Angouleme.
This medieval town has many cafe/bars, bakers, butchers, tabac, general store, pharmacies etc. Follow this link to find see more about this beautiful area.

Accommodation

We have three large double bedrooms and one family suite. Every room in has been tastefully renovated and benefits from luxury en-suite facilities and are centrally heated. All rooms have uninterrupted views of the river. Breakfast can be taken in the kitchen /dinning room or on the sun terrace. The garden leads directly to the river.

Kitchen

The fully equipped kitchen is available for making hot drinks and preparing picnics etc.

Garden

The large private south facing garden sits in a park-like environment .This year we hope to have a boules court finished for the summer. The garden runs directly to the rivers edge.
