Description of Gite:

The holiday house, suitable for 4 persons, is dated from 1796, and built from natural stone. The thick walls and the robust beam constructions are characteristic of the old style of building from this region, Bocage Bourbonnais. The house has been tastefully renovated, retaining the original features. In the living room there are still the 2 authentic bread-ovens. The dining-room has its original red small flagstones and in the kitchen you can walk on the large hand-cut natural flagstones. To the rear of the holiday house stands a fig-tree and your own terrace, where you can enjoy the first sun-beams and the magnificent view. If you wish we can look after you by providing a copious and delicious breakfast, complete with our home-made jam. The house has electric heating throughout and in the living room there is also a wood-burner for your comfort on cooler days. With the Tronçais forest nearby, Le Marronnier is an ideal starting-point for walkers and cyclists, but also perfect for people who are seeking tranquillity and space. The holiday house is available all the year and is to let from Saturday to Saturday. We prefer an hour of arrival after 16.00 PM and a departure time from 10.00 AM.

A1 Paris-ringroad A104-N104-junction A6 direction Lyon. After Nemours A77 direction Montargis-Nevers. N7 direction Moulins exit St-Pierre-le-Moutier. 978A Le Veurdre-Lurcy-Lévis. In Lurcy-Lévis D64 direction Valigny, locally known La Plâtrière, 1st road left.
