Description of Gite:

This superb medieval castle dates from the 12th century onwards, and consists of the main building, four towers and a dovecote, extensive terraced gardens covering 2 hectares (5 acres) and a swimming pool. If what you have in mind is getting away from it all with family or friends, you can rent the entire château and have the buildings, park and pool all to yourselves.You can rent the entire chateau for parties of up to 14 persons. Bed linen provided.On the ground floor: a spacious entrance hall leading to the Great Hall, the small drawing room, the library and the dining room. Kitchen and lavatories nearby.On the first floor: the upstairs drawing room, four double bedrooms, one triple bedroom, one child’s bedroom, three bathrooms.On the second floor : one double bedroom with bathroom.In the two-hectare (5 acre) park: the orangery, terraces, box hedges, swimming pools, vines…If you wish, you may also hire members of the domestic staff (maid, cook etc.)

Coming by carFrom Paris and the North:Leave autoroute A9 or A75 by the exit for Béziers Ouest, direction St Pons. Then take the slip road marked Montady / Capestang (D11). Drive approximately 25 km to Cabezac. At Cabezac turn right towards Bize-Minervois (follow the D26 for 2km). At Bize, follow signs to Agel (take the D26 for 4 km then the D20 for 2 km).Nearest stationsNarbonne : 25 km.
