Description of B&B:

The chateau is situated at 800m (over 2788 feet) in the the Haute Loire, at the centre of a vast granite plateau, and on the southern edge of the National Livradois Forest Park. The climate is characteristically low mountain plateau, with a surprising variety of landscapes: upland pasture, forests and rocky gorges.

It is an ideal place to discover the nearby towns of Craponne sur Arzon (10 minutes by car) La Chaise Dieu (25m) and the world heritage site of Le Puy en Velay, historic centre of the Haute Loire and a starting post for the St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route.
