B&B Description:Hi Pyrenees accommodation is in an impressive house called Le Mesnil. The house stands out for all to see from its vantage point above Bagneres facing the mountains. Pulling off the road there is ample parking and plenty of space outside to enjoy. We have a secure garage for bicyles and skis. Grass terraces, a large wildlife pond and seating areas will tempt you outside when the sun is shining. We feel the ‘wow’ factor does not diminish once you step inside. There is a large lounge and dining room where our guests are sure to be comfortable and are able to look through the grand windows at the spectacular views. These rooms have high ceilings with their original wooden beams and are linked by an impressive archway. There is a sun room which is a little bit of ‘outside, inside’, and this leads onto the balcony, where guests can relax and once more take in the view over Bagneres-de-Bigorre to the mountains opposite. Steps then lead down to a patio area. Midi is our premier accommodation. This suite of rooms has spectacular south facing views high across Bagneres towards the Pic du Midi and the local peaks of the Pyrenees. Midi can be a room for up to 4 people. It has a main double (or twin) room from which you can access a sunroom where 2 further beds are available. This is ideal for accompanying children or additional adults. This suite has a separate shower room with WC. There is a large washbasin in the main double room.
Like all of our rooms, you can access the internet via Wi-Fi and you will find the room equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.
Baronnies is a comfortable double room. It has a spacious, private, en-suite shower room in which you will find WC, shower and a washbasin.
Monné comprises of a double or 2 single beds. Guests in this room have access to a shared bathroom with WC, washbasin and combined shower and bath.
As well as bed and breakfast we offer Table d'hôte meals on Monday and Thursday evening or given reasonable prior notice this could be arranged for another evening.
The full range of snow sports is on our door step, with easy access to the large ski resort of La Mongie. Snow-shoeing and cross country skiing are available just along the road in the charming resort of Payolle.
The area is, of course, a mecca for road cycling. The Tour de France invariably comes close to us each year. The opportunity to cycle the famous high cols of this area such as Col du Tourmalet is, well, just a bike ride away! The hiking, mountain running and mountain biking network is also extensive and provides for hours of exploration. The fauna and flora you’ll be in amongst is just stunning and so, whether you are a birdwatcher, a photographer or an artist, you’ll delight at the breathtaking settings you find.
Our accommodation is adjacent to an 18-hole golf course and nearby there’s parapenting, there’s horse riding, there are markets, there’s……. so much more to share with you.
