Description of B&B:

We have converted our 18th century barn, which stands at the edge of the courtyard next to the farmhouse, into very comfortable accommodation for up to 10 people.

You will stay in one of the large, light and airy rooms which are decorated in a fresh country style with individual colour schemes and hand-made patchwork quilts. Each room has its own smart en-suite shower room with multi-action shower, basin and WC.
There are 5 double bedrooms - 4 with king-size beds and 1 with 2 single beds. One room is on the ground floor and 4 are upstairs.

There is a spacious full-height central living area for guests' sole use, with dining area, small kitchen area with a fridge and sink and everything for preparing hot and cold drinks. There are also 2 different areas with comfortable sofas (one on each floor) for lounging and relaxing and a selection of games, books and quality hi-fi system for your entertainment.
Double doors lead out onto the pretty terrace with a further large dining table and comfortable garden furniture and this overlooks the large garden and tranquil countryside beyond.

There are lovely walks all around the property and local maps and walking routes are available on request. You can even walk part of the famous route de St Jaques de Compostella - the pilgrimage route across France to Santiago de Compestello in northern Spain - the path runs right alongside our farmhouse.
Mas de Flory is situated 1 km from the small village of Degagnac with a bar and shop, post office and auberge serving good food.

The nearest town is Gourdon less than a 15 minutes drive away. As well as a beautiful medieval centre it has a good range of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and barsIt also stages several intereting events and fetes throughour the summer months.

The Lot is the gateway to the South of France. Far enough south to be consistently hot and sunny in summer and characterised by warm late Autumn months but still relatively undiscovered by tourism its rural landscape has remained unchanged for thousands of years.

Within an hour or so of Mas de Flory you can visit the famous village, abbey and chateau of Rocamadour. a mediaeval settlement and renowned site for pilgrims which clings precariously to dramatic limestone cliffs above the valley.
Or discover other nearby sites of interest: Pech-Merle Grottos, with their ancient cave paintings; the wonderful underground chasm of Padirac; St-Cirq-Lapopie - officially one of the prettiest villages in France, perched high above the winding Cele river.
Also a must to visit is historic Cahors with its 14th century Pont Valentre spanning the magnificent River Lot.
Meander the Cahors AOC vineyards and taste the wonderful rich 'black wine', based on the Malbec grape - you'll definitely want to take some home with you!
