Description of B&B:

A warm welcome awaits you from the Michael family to our home set in 2 acres of walled gardens with stunning views, deep in the green heart of the Limousin region in the Correze, "the Department of Nature." We are located on the edge of the beautiful and peaceful villages of La Roche Canillac and La Roche Basse which tumble down the wooded gorges of La Doustre, a tributary of the Dordogne River. Our aim is to ensure that you get the most from your stay in this natural and unspoilt region of woods, rivers, lakes and traditional Correze stone cottages.

The immediate area is ideal for walking, cycling, fishing, swimming, or just relaxing in the gardens or by the lake. There are many opportunities for water and land based outdoor activities in the surrounding areas run by qualified instructors including kayaking/canoeing, fishing, mountain biking and orienteering. The picturesque surrounding towns and villages are blessed with numerous auberges, restaurants and markets. We are equidistant between the towns of Argentat sur Dordogne and Tulle.

At La Clauzure we offer a range of quality accommodation that suits all needs from single travellers and couples to families and groups. Our accommodation is available on a Bed and Breakfast basis or for longer holidays at special weekly rates.

We have experience of providing the perfect ambience and comfort for B&B, family holidays, wedding parties, family reunions and conferences.

B&B ROOMS

We have two tastefully furnished Bed and Breakfast rooms each with en-suite shower room and a small balcony with views.

Tea and Coffee making facilities are provided in the rooms and guests have access to a lounge area on the ground floor and of course the large walled gardens.

A continental breakfast including locally made preserves is provided in the large lounge with ornate ceiling and windows on the ground floor.

Guests can sleep peacefully in the knowledge that we conform to the high standards of fire security with fire doors and alarm systems.

Guests have the choice of double or single beds.

SUITES

For tourers and holiday makers that prefer a little more privacy and space, we have 3 suites that each comprise of double bedroom with en suite shower room; a private lounge with dining table and sofa bed and a private kitchenette.

Ideal for families with young children, the suites can accommodate up to four or five people. They also provide a luxurious stay for single travellers and couples. One suite in particular has stunning panoramic views from the second floor.

The suites are available on a bed and breakfast basis with special rates available for weekly stays. breakfast can either be delivered to the suites or served in the large lounge with decorative ceilings and windows on the ground floor.

Guests have access to the 2 acre walled garden and a guests' lounge on the ground floor.

Prices are €85 per night for 1 or 2 people, with €20 supplement per extra adult, per night, up to a maximum of 4 adults in the suite in total. For families of up to 4 or 5 including children, the price is €115 per night.

Weekly rates are €425 for 1 or 2 persons and €495 for families with young children. All prices include French Breakfast and tax.
