La Jeanne
This beautiful rural property is situated on the outskirts of a small village yet just a short drive from the bustling market and popular tourist town of Aire Sur L'Adour.
The town which lies on the river Adour on the border of the departments of the Gers and the Landes of Southwest France has an intriguing mixture of old and new. Traditional French architecture blends almost invisibly with modern shops, bars, open markets, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and sports facilities.
The area is famous for delicious foie gras and fabulous healthy Madiran wines and Armagnac.
South facing La Jeanne is set on the borders of Gascony (Gers), Pyrenees Atlantiques and the Landes and offers some of the most stunning views in South West France.
La Jeanne is a completely self contained self catering holiday cottage comfortably accommodating up to six people .The cottage has recently been completely refurbished to the highest standard.

What's inside ?
The main door opens into a large fully fitted kitchen diner with exposed beams and tiled floor and leads into the bright lounge with a wooden staircase. Electric radiators and wood burner provide heating for winter nights.
A hallway from the lounge gives access to a large double bedroom, a toilet, huge hand basin, hydrotherapy shower cubicle and an automatic washing machine.
A door in the hallway allows access to the rear of the property and the private driveway.
The wooden staircase from the lounge leads to the first floor which is a fabulous attic conversion.
The mixture of the old and modern features creates a warm and stylish space and comprises 2 large double bedrooms separated by a 2nd lounge or further bedroom should the need arise.

What's outside ?
A private vehicle access and lawn large enough for tennis, large gravelled patio area with shrubs, flowered rockeries and a raised decked patio area with family sized above ground plunge pool.
The patio is a real sun trap overlooking unspoilt valleys to the wine producing village of Saint-Mont.
