The owners are also local experts and are well equipped to facilitate your needs to make your stay in Périgord as convenient as possible. The graceful grounds of the Manor and its peaceful intimacy promise to seduce you imagination. The climate and vegetation of the region is almost Mediterranean in nature and will make for a delightful stay as you submerge yourself in the natural beauty and history of the Périgord Noir.

The picturesque village of Roque Gageac is only a few minutes walk from the Manor and is officially classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. The village's situation turns it virtually into a large natural solarium, making possible the creation of extraordinary exotic gardens. The plants and trees found in this town are rarely found elsewhere in the region, with variety ranging from banana trees to palm trees and bougainvilleas. From Roque Gageac it is possible to embark on a trip onboard the ‘Gabares’, the traditional flat-bottomed boats used on the Dordogne, giving you a taste of the history of the Périgord Noir. On these cruises it is possible to visit the enchanting castles and further villages along the Dordogne River.


The local area also offers numerous activities. The nearby beaches are a great place to relax and swim whilst for the more adventurous it is possible to go canoeing on 50 meters away from the Manor. Climbing and ofcourse golf are some of the other activities available whilst less than 8 kilometers distance plane rides are on offer. You can also relax in the park by the swimming-pool eating with delight the delicacies of Périgord and drinking the special Manor vintages : Bordeaux and Bourgogne wine, one of the best Champagnes
