Description of Gite:

Cottage for rent complete with everything you need for an enjoyable holiday. Beds made up for arrival , house cleaned, kitchen complete (food required), free fast internet access - all this & less than a minute from the famous Collioure promenade and cafes and beaches - the medieval fishing village made famous by Matisse and Picasso.

Access:

By Car:
From the North [Montpellier, Toulouse, Carcassonne] Perpignan [A9 – E15 Motorway] Collioure
Take exit 42 (Perpignan-Sud) from A9. Immediately after the tollgate (péage) take the right-hand exit signed Argeles. Follow all signs to Argeles through several roundabouts. This will bring you onto the N114 road heading south to Argeles/PortVendres.
From the South [Barcelona, Girona ] Girona [A9 – E15 Motorway, Le Boulou [exit 43] Collioure
Once on the A9 – E15, from Spain, you need to leave the motorway, after the border frontier at exit (43) Le Boulou (France).
Go through exit & pay at tollgate (péage); you will come to a roundabout, turn off for D618 - Argeles/Port Vendres.
Then follow all signs for Port Vendres (the town past Collioure). After 12-15 mins you come to another roundabout.
Arriving in Collioure
Continue on the N114 (~20 min) until exit (sortie) 14 to Collioure. Take this exit for the village.
In summer note signs for parking Delestage on the left by tennis courts: Cap Dourats is serviced by a free village shuttle bus.

By car: Turn right at each of the two roundabouts, pass under the railway bridge, and you will come to a roundabout, turn right down the main Avenue de General de Gaulle [yellow road on map].
Continue down towards beach. At the bottom left is the castle car park entrance. Park here if not ‘complet’ (full). If full, double-park opposite this entrance, at the public square & leave passengers & luggage. House is a 40 second walk from here.
