Description of B&B:
The village of Alaigne is in the form of an ancient “circulade” and nestles in the vineyards called Malepère.The village boasts a bakery and small shop, post office, primary school and friendly café-bar - and is only 3km. from a larger village with supermarket, bank, doctor, dentist and pizza bar.
Just 15 mins; away can be found the famous restaurant of Gayda whilst in the other direction, the small city of Limoux boasts a large selection of shopping, bars & restaurants and is home to the famous Blanquette de Limoux – the forerunner of Champagne !
Guests at Chez Dyna can choose to dine with us in the evening and have full use of our quiet
garden for eating and drinking or simply to relax and listen to the chorus of local birds.
There is always a quiet spot to be found at Chez Dyna and guests are also welcome to use the sitting room
We offer private off road private parking, internet access, many books, clean air and a relaxing environment. Chez Dyna is a TV free zone although sports addicts can safely watch their favourite games on TV in the friendly bar opposite.
In summertime, an outdoor swimming pool is open in the adjacent village of Belveze, 3km. away; whilst the town of Limoux (12km. away) famous for its Blanquette, boasts both indoor and outdoor swimming as well as many other sports & leisure including kyak/canoe river rides, tennis and horse riding. In winter, Skiing is possible just one hour away and the beach also one hour away at Narbonne.
Wine tasting and tuition and even a masterclass or quiz can be organised as can local history lectures and preparatory Holy Grail videos..
Once inside our house, access to the front garden reveals the true character of this former Maison de Maitre and is a lovely spot to take breakfast in the morning or relax in the evening Chez Dyna offers three completely refurbished suites each individual in its style and retaining the charming character of the house whilst at the same time providing modern clean facilities.
The Gregoire Suite is on the first floor and overlooks the south facing garden. It has a double bed, tea/coffee making facilities and a private bathroom with shower and bath.
. The Chapron Suite also on the first floor and overlooking the garden, has double or twin beds with the possibility of an additional bed or cot, private bathroom with large walk in shower, seating area and tea/coffee making facilities
A quiet seating area for reading or relaxing is provided outside the rooms
. The Corbieres Suite is on the ground floor and overlooks the Corbieres mountains. It is a large suite with double bed and single bed, sitting area, tea/coffee making facilities and separate private bathroom with shower. Adjoining this suite is a sitting room with double sofa bed which may be booked as a family suite for up to 5 people plus infant
Description of Gite:
The gite at chez Dyna offers self catering cottage style accommodation all year round for two or three people. (cot available). Situated right next door to our home where we provide b&b accommodation, guests in the gite can choose on occasions to take breakfast with us if they wish – or to dine in Chez Dyna in the evening. (advance notice required). Guests are also welcome to use our garden and free wi-fi.This little cottage has a sitting room with wood burning fire, DVD selection and a complete kitchen. Upstairs the bedroom has a double bed, single day bed and en suite bathroom

J'ai passé un week-end d'automne chez Dyna (nous étions 3 personnes). Quand j'y repense, un mot me vient systématiquement à l'esprit : romantisme. Lits confortables, salles de bain très propres, petit déjeûner délicieux (fruits, céréales, lait, café, yaourts, jus de fruit... pain frais). Le Gîte qui vous donne envie de partir plus souvent en voyage. Grande classe anglaise pour un prix très correct. Merci Dyna !

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Geoff et Lin. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine de Lin, ainsi que la chambre (son confort, sa déco et sa propreté). Nous avons aimé le petit jardin et le dîner sur la terrasse que nous avons partagé avec des gens charmants. Nous avons été touchés par les petites attentions que faisaient Geoff aux enfants. Toutes ces rencontres nous ont données l'envie de créer chez nous, une chambre d'hôtes et/ou un gîte!!

Geoff and Lynn are perfect hosts in the delightful bed and breakfast that they have created in recent years.
Excellent breakfast and hospitality. The furnishings are a delight and show great artistic flair. Extremely comfortable and so peaceful. Excellent bar in the village.Only regret is that as we are buying a house nearby we wont need to stay there again ! Alaigne is a great centre for exploring what is a truly beautiful area.
