Description of B&B:

La Croix du Reh dates from 1620 when an inn was built in the small village Chateauneuf - la Foret in Haute Vienne in Limousin on the orders of the French King Henry IV. Over the years it has been used for different purposes, but now, as a chambres d'hôtes (bed and breakfast), "La Croix du Reh" has come full circle to its original purpose - to give shelter to the travelers.
In our B&B dining often takes place in the garden during the summer: evening meals are available on request.Summer or winter, there's a warm welcome in the Salon with original oak beams, a large open log fireplace.

Our Bed and breakfast accommodation in Limousin is a perfect alternative to going self catering gites, or as a stopover alternative to a hotel.. Our bed and breakfast is also our home and gives you the warmth and hospitality of the traditional French Bed and breakfasts. In the depths of winter, and especially when snow is lying on the ground, the open log fire in the Salon provides a warm welcome. We offer five en-suite bedrooms different capacity:
Rose Room : accommodation for 2-3 people
Blue Room: accommodation for 1-2 people
Gold Room: accommodation for 2-3 people
Yellow Family suite: accommodation for 2-5 people
Lavender Family room : accommodation for 2-5 people
Baby cots can be provided for every bedroom
All rooms have en-suite baths and/or showers, clock-radios and coffee/tea-making facilities.

Access:

From the North

From the A20 autoroute, take Junction 35, signposted Feytiat and Eymoutiers. Follow the D979 towards Eymoutiers. After 24 kilometres, Chateauneuf-la-Foret and Neuvic Entier are signposted to the right. In Neuvic turn right and follow the road down the hill and across the river bridge (River Combade). Stay on the main road, signposted Sussac and the A20. At the top of the hill, with the College buildings on the right, you will see La Croix du Reh right in front of you. It is the building with the black and white shutters. Parking is usually available through the white gates to the left of the building.

From Bordeaux

From Bordeaux airport follow towards Perigueux , then take N21 towards Limoges and follow all the way up to the Autoroute A20. Join Autoroute A20 at the Junction 33 and go South towards Toulouse. Exit A20 at the Junction 35, signposted Feytiat and Eymoutiers. Follow the D979 towards Eymoutiers. After 24 kilometres, Chateauneuf-la-Foret and Neuvic Entier are signposted to the right. In Neuvic turn right and follow the roads down the hill and across the river bridge (River Combade). Stay on the main road, signposted Sussac and the A20. At the top of the hill, with the College buildings on the right, you will see La Croix du Reh right in front of you. It is the building with the black and white shutters. From the South

From the A20 autoroute, take Junction 42, signposted St-Germain-les-Belles. Follow the signs for Chateauneuf. As you come into the village, past the lake on the left and the Super U market on the right, follow the main road. After the Credit Agricole Bank on the right, La Croix du Reh is 100 metres further on, opposite the College.

From the Limoges Airport

Follow the signs for Poitiers and the A20. This leads to the Limoges northern by-pass. Ignore the next turn-off for Poitiers at this stage. Follow the road to the A20 (junction 28) and join the autoroute heading south signposted Limoges and Toulouse. From the A20 autoroute, take Junction 35, signposted Feytiat and Eymoutiers. Follow the D979 towards Eymoutiers. After 24 kilometres, Chateauneuf-la-Foret and Neuvic Entier are signposted to the right. In Neuvic turn right and follow the roads down the hill and across the river bridge (River Combade). Stay on the main road, signposted Sussac and the A20.
