Description of B&B:
Karen and Richard are happy to welcome you to their home in the heart of the bocage on the deux sevres/vendee border just 20 km from the Grand Parc Puy du Fou.Le Plessis, Combrand, is situated in a small hamlet in the lovely countryside, a short walk from the nearby village of Montravers. Combrand has its own bakers and butchers and a bar/restaurant. The small town of Cerizay with its shops, restaurants, supermarkets and indoor swimming pool is just 4 kms away. There are many tourist attractions within easy reach.
There is a separate entrance to the guest accommodation which comprises of three bedrooms all with en suite shower/toilet facilities, towels provided.
The two spacious family rooms are upstairs:
One has a double bed and two single beds
The other has a double bed and a single bed.
They both have plenty of room for a fold up bed or a cot that can be provided if required.
The room on the ground floor, with its own entrance, has a king size double bed.
There is also a drinks making area downstairs with a fridge and microwave.
Books, games, and puzzles are also available.
The private garden, overlooking the countryside, is enclosed and has an outdoor covered sitting/eating area with barbecue available. There are facilities for playing table tennis, darts, badminton and swings for the children.
A continental breakfast, consisting of orange juice, cereal, croissants, fresh bread, jams and marmalade, with tea, coffee, or hot chocolate is served between 8 and 10 a.m. (earlier or later on request) Breakfast can be eaten outdoors if desired. We have a highchair for our younger guests.

Pour une première expérience en chambre d'hôtes nous avons été agréablement surpris aussi bien par le cadre, les chambres et surtout la gentillesse de Karen et Richard qui mettent en plus à disposition de leurs hôtes un plan détaillé pour aller et revenir du Puy du Fou.

Only stayed one night for B&B. Lovely room Karen and Richard very welcoming with a good breakfast. Would stay again any time.

Nous avons passé un bien agréable séjour chez Karen et Richard, dans un environnement super, nous avons apprécié le calme, la campagne, la gentillesse des propriétaires. Nous avons pu bénificier ainsi du Puy du Fou et de belles promenades. A refaire avec plaisir
