Description:

Description for B&B:

In Provence, at the gateway of Camargue, on one of the pilgrimage routes leading to Santiago de Compostela and at the heart of the historical center of Arles… here is where works of art, antiques and vintage furniture, natural materials and artifacts brought back from traveling the world all come together : Mia Casa offers you the luxury of the soulful and real, with an added artist's touch.

Well-traveled artists, we have loved experiencing the refinement of palaces as much as finding good deals, and have set home to create a place true to this idea and where our hosts can truly feel at home.

Your house...
We will be at your disposal to make your stay a real success. Equally, our guest rooms and furnished apartments enjoy independent access, allowing you privacy should you prefer it. Choose from a variety of hosting facilities : a big room and a suite, but also a studio a small apartment where you will be able to cook. We also regularly organize activity holidays and can offer reduced rates for weekly or monthly stays. Mia Casa is ideal for romantic getaways and for family holidays and get-togethers between friends.
Lastly, as we wish to promote the work of artists, we hold here private exhibitions and an artists' residency.

…à Arles With its maze of tiny streets bathed in subdued luminosity, Arles and its Roman and Romanesque Heritage has always attracted artists, notably Van Gogh who attempted to set up in Arles an artists' community and painted here over 300 works - a selection of which you will be able to discover on this web site. Today, Arles is one of UNESCO's World Heritage sites, which ensures its historical center remains free from any visual pollution such as advertising posters or anachronistic architecture. Its environment is also preserved outside the city's walls as Arles opens onto Camargue National Reserve, one of the world's Biosphere Reserves, and onto the chain of hills called the Alpilles where many rare and protected species also live. Arles soothes but also sharpens the eye and its world-famous " Rencontres " turn it every year into the world's capital of Photography. A place of art, Arles is also a city of traditions, with festivities celebrating year round provencal culture.

Easy to access Mia Casa is a stone's throw from the Rhone river, in the chic Bohemian district of La Roquette, undoubtedly the city center's most picturesque. Past the door, your journey continues under the auspices of art and history, with the exhibition of artists who add to this unique décor. Welcome !

Appréciations pour Mia Casa, Arles:

Excellent accueil
Review by: cilouzan, Juil 19 2013 1:54PM
