Description of B&B:

Auberge Les Liards is situated in the natural regional park Livradois-Forez, in a small region that is called 'the balcony of the Livradois'. This name does have a sense: from many places one has a superb view over the volcano chain of the Auvergne. The guesthouse itself is situated on an old volcano and on 800m: the view is magnificent and especially the sunsets unforgettable.The Livradois area is hilly, with many small valleys, small villages and hamlets. Touristically spoken, it is still undiscovered and authentic. One can wander around for a whole day without meeting any other tourist. But one does meet nature, silence, and these beautiful goldcoloured villages.Our rooms are comfortable with each their own bathroom. We can link some rooms with each other for bigger families and/or a group of friends.The guesthouse has four rooms and can hoste easily 16 people. Two rooms are situated on the second floor of the main building and are sharing a small sitting lounge. The other two rooms are situated in a site building and both have a perfect view over the vulcanoes of the Auvergne. These two rooms are renovated with natural materials, and for the newest room, the Nepal room, we only used natural and ecological materials.What about a breakfast outside this summer, enjoying the view and the sound of many birds? Thereafter you might want to walk to the animals (sheep, horse, donkeys, geese, rabits, etc.) in company of the peacocks. You can have dinner at our guesthouse if you want (half pension is also possible). In the kitchen we use mainly local products, always fresh, and often organically grown. In the summer concerts are organised during the weekends (from 15 July till 20 August, on Saturday and Sunday evenings). They take place outside on the terrace if the weather is fine.
