Description of B&B:

B&B "3 épis" Gîtes de France "maison de charme".
Bedroom "Salagou" : 23m2 (about 70 square feet), very bright. Private bathroom and WC. Private access non a small terrace, scenic view on the fortified village of Boussagues. Northwest situation.
Bedroom "Caroux" : 21m2 (about 63 square feet), very cosy, overlooking the cliff of Caussanel, with an entry from the beautiful flowerish garden. Situation southeast

Description of Gite:

La Maison du Cadran (Sundial House) is an old farmhouse built during the 18th century for its most recent part. Up to the 40s it was still in intense activity. Goat and ewe husbandry, homemade Roquefort cheese, refined afterwoods in the famous roquefort cellars, viticulture (it remains the cellar and the wine barrel).
The farm has been renovated through the ages by the different owners, each one left his own print but always in the respect of the original house.
It was natural therefore for us, to go ahead with renovation with always in mind the respect of the uncomparable cachet of this house.

Now a days the house has been refurbish with double-glass windows, wooden-grain isolation in the walls, and in the kitchen a wood-burning stove using both to heat the kitchen and cook some wonderful meals. Walls has been painted with a special paint respectul of environement for your health.

Access:

GPS : 43.645711 - 3.176219. From A9 : Exit 35 Béziers east/centre, then follow direction « Bédarieux ».
Once at Bédarieux, follow direction city centre/all directions (centre ville/toutes directions), then La Tour sur Orb, Avène, Lodève.
Before arriving at « La Tour sur IOrb», at about 3km after Bédarieux, turn right direction Dio, Valquières, Brenas, Le Mas Blanc, Le Bousquet de la Balme (bridge over Orb river), then just at the end of Mas Blanc, turn right direction Mas de Riols, Le Bousquet de la Balme. Go up through Le Bousquet in following the main road and just after a school bus stop, La Maison du Cadran (our home) is located right in front of you at the corner of Route de la Garrigue and Rue du Gerbas.

From A75 : Exit 52 Lodève nord-Soubès, then Lodève city centre and Bédarieux.
About 2km after la Tour sur Orb, turn left direction Dio Valquières, Brenas, le Mas Blanc, Le Bousquet de la Balme (bridge over Orb river), then just at the end of Mas Blanc, turn right direction mas de Riols, Le Bousquet de la Balme. j'ai séjourné quelques jours dans cette charmante maison, les chambres sont impeccables, l'accueil chaleureux et la maîtresse de maison est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Très disponible et discrète à la fois. Région magnifique, nombreuses activités dans la région, rando, vtt, visite de caves, baignades, bain thermaux et j'en oublie.

Fin Janvier,les journées sont courtes, il fait frisquet dehors, la bise souffle sur le Caroux ; mais le soir, quel réconfort : accueil "chaleur"eux , excellent plat chaud, belle bibliothèque, sourires de Christine chantonnante :dans notre rouchi nordique , c'est etre à l'coillette ; merci encore à Christine et Yves ,de la part de Yannick et Yves

Quel régal ce week-end passé dans la maison du cadran!!! Le cadre est magnifique, la maison est authentique, tous les équipements sont à disposition! Les propriétaires nous réservent un accueil irréprochable et de très belles saveurs dans l'assiette! Bref, détente et de bonne humeur garanties!

Dans cette maison rien n'est carré, on monte et on descend en passant de pièce en pièce où aucune ne ressemble à l'autre. Dans un cadre magnifique et avec un accueil chaleureux, bref un petit coin de paradis.
