La Vigne Vierge Chambres d'Hôtes is owned and run by Andrew and Kate Lockwood. Originally from Oxfordshire in South East England, we moved to the South West of France to follow a lifelong dream of living in France and embracing a simpler way of life.

Our beautiful 18th Century Quercy Stone house is situated in the Lot region of South West France in the small hamlet of Germillac near the village of Montgesty. Offering an adult-only haven of peace and tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, La Vigne Vierge provides the perfect base for a wonderful stay in this gorgeous and unspoilt region of France. The region has an array of attractions including the charming medieval city of Cahors, numerous pretty villages, castles, vineyards, gardens, rivers and fantastic walking trails. We are also situated only a short distance from the Dordogne region where you will find many more sites of interest to visit.

La Vigne Vierge offers three luxurious and characterful double bedrooms, all with lovely en-suite shower rooms. The guest accommodation has its own private entrance which is separate from the main house and includes a comfortable and spacious lounge area for exclusive use of our guests.

A continental style breakfast is included in the price of your room and, weather permitting, is served on the beautiful terrace of the main house, overlooking the garden and surrounding woodland.

This region of France is rightly famous for it's gastronomy and is a delight for food and wine lovers. During your stay you will have the chance to visit some of the many fabulous restaurants that lie within a short drive of the property; everything from traditional and simple auberges to Michelin starred eateries (including the two star Le Gindreau just 5 minutes away!).

La Vigne Vierge is nestled into the unspoilt and peaceful surrounding rural countryside. The garden and inviting swimming pool area are designed to allow you to relax and unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility. The sun loungers, deck chairs and sofas all provide somewhere to soak up the sun, read a book or just simply have a snooze after a long day exploring the area.
