Description of Gite:

The Cottage Water Mill, is part of an unusual mansion, located on the river Loue.
Quiet location 5 minutes walk from downtown.
The house is composed of common external parts, and three adjoining apartments.
A courtyard with a parking space and a private garage for access to the cottage.
You enter the cottage situation (East, The morning sun) with a terrace above the floodway which is supplied with water by valves upstream. Inside you will find a beautiful living space, kitchen, central block to eat for two, dining area and lounge through to a large balcony (West sunset). Unique and beautiful view of the river and adjoining the town of Ornans, The old mills and houses typical of the edge of Loue. Upstairs, two comfortable bedrooms, bathroom WC.

Ornans is located 25 km from Besançon towards Pontarlier and Switzerland.


Paris By road: 440 km
Lyon: 240 km
Lausanne: 100 km


Besançon by train is about 2 hours 30 minutes by TGV from Paris and Lyon.
A bus line connecting Mobidoubs Besancon to Pontarlier stops at Ornans.
