Description of B&B:

Tucked away amongst the rice paddies and vineyards typical to the Camargue and encircled by wild grass, this residence, of which the oldest part dates from the 16th century, was renovated in 2001 by a passionate artist-woodworker who transformed this former farm into a bed & breakfast.

Walls hundreds of years old in sandy tones of ochre, furniture made of driftwood, a breakfast full of vitamins with a view over lavender fields, horses peacefully grazing in the pasture, morning reverie under our fig tree... this privileged spot, where time seems to stand still, is in the very image of the Camargue itself: natural and simple.

Access:

Driving instructions from Arles:

At exit number 4 on the duel carriageway take the D570 for Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer at the roundabout (set km to 0). Continue straight on at the next roundabout (km 0.5). Take the D36 left for Salin-de-Giraud at km 2.5. Take a right for Gageron at km 6. In Gageron (km 9) take the only road to the right, passing the church and school (both on your left) heading back north. You will see our driveway on the left when you get to km 12, i.e. 3km after the church in Gageron (there is a sign "Mas Montredon" facing back towards Gageron and another for a restaurant).
Take the driveway on THE LEFT of the bin, NOT the entrance Bergerie/Mas les Restoubles de Montredon which runs parallel but on the right of the bin. Just before the end of the driveway (250m), in the bend, enter Mas Montredon through the wooden gate (not the metal one) and please close it after you. Parking is at the back of the house by the tall trees and so is the entrance.

For a GPS system where you can enter figures: 43° 37' 32" N - 4° 35' 09" E. Your best chance with the address is "chemin rural de Montredon".
