Au Chateau is situated on the site of a mediaeval motte and bailie providing commanding views of the immediate countryside and the snow capped Pyrenees beyond. The manoir lies within and above the hamlet of Luby Betmont, which consists of a church, a few other houses and several farm buildings. Because of the layout of the land, it’s complete secluded and private once you’re past the gatesAccommodation The house offers extensive accommodation, ideal for two families or a group of friends holidaying together. There are two large drawing rooms, a dining room, five bedrooms (one with bunk beds, one with twin beds), a TV/games room, a well-equipped kitchen and three baths with two more loos downstairs. The master bedroom is en-suite. All linen is provided, including towels and pool towels, Kitchen The kitchen has a double electric oven with a gas hob. Directions to Au ChateauOn your arrival at Toulouse airport you will find the car-hire agencies all in a row to the left of the luggage carousels. On leaving the airport by car, follow the signposts to Tarbes / Lourdes until you hit the motorway A64 to Tarbes / Pau. Continue on the motorway until the junction (15) signposted to Tournay. Coming from the east, you are aiming fror the same junction.Turn right after the paystation for the motorway on the D20 towards Tournay. Cross the railway and go straight ahead at the roundabout on the N17 signposted to Bordes. Turn into the centre of Bordes onto the Di4 after 2 km.Go straight ahead through Bordes, following the turns in the road till you reach a roundabout. Turn left, still on the D14, signposted to Pouyastruc. Stay on the D14 all the way to Chelle Debat., and turn right onto the D632Luby Betmont is between Osmets (which has a local hostelry called Chez Patrik) and Vidou. Turn right off the main road onto the D11 and at the top of the rise, the House is just before the Mairie on the right. . There is a very sharp turn into the house which is behind blue gates. Take the right hand fork up the drive; and follow it round to the parking area.
