Description of B&B:

Domaine Saint Blancard is within walking distance of the village where you will find a small shop, a pizzeria and a pleasant café/restaurant “le Relais du Chateau”. In Boulogne sur Gesse , a small town, at a distance of 10 km, you will find a supermarket and on Wednesdays local people of the areas will meet at a nice market. The surroundings are perfect for making daytrips to castles, Roman excavation sites and prehistoric caves. You can find many so called ‘brocantes’, a flea market, and the area is full of medieval villages that will surprise you every time. The region, known for the Three Musketeers, provides a great variety of fascinating historic sites. Interesting festivals are held regularly, like the yearly jazz festival of Marciac, that is known throughout the world. Toulouse is only a forty-five minute drive away and has many museums, an interesting space-centre and a number of beautiful parks to walk in. The historic city centre is perfect for a nice afternoon of shopping. Here you will also find a great scale of concerts, theatre performances and other cultural activities.

Description of Gite:

In our gîtes you will find a large living room with a comfortable kitchen corner, two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom at your disposal. A wide terrace with hardwood garden furniture offers a beautiful view of the snow clad Pyrenean peaks and the lake especially in clear weather. Our gîtes are provided with satellite television, a fridge, a microwave oven and a gas cooker. You will find everything you need in our kitchens.
