Description of B&B:
Very comfortable well furnished en-suite rooms with TV, radio, hair dryers, hospitality trays and toiletries. Good guests lounge with a variety of books and games. Large grounds. The hotel is a favourite of Artists, Photographers, Walkers, Climbers and Bird and Wildlife watchers.Access:
Take M6 to Penrith then follow the A66 towards Keswick. At the Keswick roundabout continue on the A66 towards Cockermouth. Thornthwaite is approx three miles from the Keswick roundabout. In the village follow the signes to Thornthwaite Gallery. Just past the Gallery there is a short section of untarmaced road.
