La Vallée Verte in Grandchamp (south of Haute-Marne, 22 minutes from exit 6 of the A31 motorway) has 5 rooms in a stately home dating from 1586. Each room has all the modern comforts while retaining the traces of the past, harmoniously highlighted. The Green Valley was through the centuries the house of the collection of taxes then an important farm. You will appreciate its Burgundy stones, its wide beams, its fireplaces, its large rooms and a thousand architectural details!
You can also take advantage of our table d'hôtes: it will be an opportunity to discover some aspects of our gastronomic heritage. In this case, please let us know at least two days in advance, so that we have time to go to the market and cook for you..
As for the garden, it is designed for enjoyment: meals on the terrace, reading in a deck chair under the weeping willow, game of hide and seek (for young and old), visit to the chickens, pétanque,...

Description for Gite

The Green Valley welcomes you!
It has 5 guest rooms (with breakfast included):
- Our house offers all different rooms. But rest assured that the services are of equal quality
- They are all spacious (between 35 and 50 m2), double, and have their own private bathroom and toilet as well as a lounge area. The bedding is comfortable and neat.
- 3 bedrooms are located on the floors of the house (1st and 2nd floor): Gillot, Girault de Prangey and Thoinot Arbeau
- 2 others have their own entrance: La Dame de Grandchamp (appartment) and Ravel
- 1 is on the ground floor (particularly suitable for people with difficulty on the stairs, please let us know if necessary): Ravel
- 1 room has a piano: Ravel. Musicians, bring your sheet music!
- Each also allows you to work: a desk or a table are at your disposal, with a Wifi connection (excellent in the common areas and in three rooms out of five)
- Each bears the name of a local artistic personality

Please let us know if one of the rooms is your preference. As far as possible, we will be happy to satisfy you, but of course everything will depend on availability!
