Description of Manoir de l'Hermerel Bed & Breakfast:On the site of Gefosse castle, l'HERMEREL stands up, proud, surrounded by its pastures. You’ll enjoy to discover this charming place with its superb little gothic chapel ( XVth century) and the circular dovecote, representing privilege in days old, with hundreds of former pigeon niches. L’ Hermerel is also an authenthic fortified working dairy farm. Our guest’s children are so happy to meet cows and calves.
The four confortable rooms are in the independent wing of the manor house. Each one has its own personality and original charm. Two of them are special for families. More photos on our website.
Breakfast is served in our dinning room, reminiscent of days gone by, with its walk-in stone fireplace and hanging copper kettle, heavy beamed ceiling and old farm furniture. You’ll enjoy to taste French “baguette” with a large choice of different breds, homemade cake, fruit juice, homemade jams, famous butter of Isigny, cereals, cheese and beverage of your choice.

Directions to Manoir de l'HermerelFrom Paris take A13 towards ROUEN / CAEN
Then N13 towards BAYEUX / CHERBOURG, leave it at OSMANVILE , cross the village and take the D514 to GEFOSSE FONTENAY, drive 4km and turn left onto D199A and follow the signs l’ HERMEREL, (2nd lane on the right)
