Description of B&B:
Higher Pastures' holiday homes and bed and breakfast is located in a peaceful mountain village, hosting a church and about 20 houses, six miles South East of Lourdes. In the Pyrenean middle-range mountains, at an altitude of 750m, we enjoy pure clear air and breath-taking panoramic views, from the first peaks of the Pyrenees to the South, round to the rolling foothills towards Tarbes to the North.Description of Gite:
La Bigourdane is a spacious gite sleeping 8/10 on the eastern side of the building, with its own private entrance and garden. The main reception room is equipped with a wood-burning stove which provides the central-heating in winter. The room has a small but ideally fitted corner kitchen, and a big dining table for those long drawn-out French mealtimes. The downstairs bedroom suite has in addition to the sleeping area and ensuite-bathroom, a sitting area with books, games and videos. Upstairs there a two double bedrooms, a mezzanine with 2 single beds and a second bathroom.Access:
By Car- It takes 75 minutes from Bayonne and 1.45 from Toulouse. The motoway A64 crosses the department, running parellel to the Pyrenees. Leave the motorway at the exit for Tournay, between Lannemezan and Tarbes, and head for Bagnères de Bigorre. 'Higher Pastures' is on the D26, half way between Lourdes and Bagnères de Bigorre.Photo Gallery

Très bel endroit plein de charme.
Très bien situé à 15 mn de Lourdes ou de Bagnères de Bigorre jouissant d'un point de vue magnifique.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour très reposant.
Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil et la cuisine de Janet et Guy

un lugar perfecto para descansar, a diez minutos de Lourdes

Excelente comida orgánica, preparación casera. La acogida fué genial y los propietarios son muy amables. Bien organizado, muy cómodo, seguro. La casa está completamente renovada, chimenea, cocina.
