Description of Gite:

In the heart of the Perigord Noir in the valley of the Dordogne and the Vezere, tucked away from it all in a little village with its 13th century church and surrounded with some superb walks and hikes and a few minutes from the famous Lascaux caves, Sarlat and the Eyzies, the Garden of Eden is a haven of peace and tranquillity, a wonderful place to spend time with both friends and family.

The Four ( 1 bedroom, sleeps 2), the Chalet and the Oustal (2 bedrooms, sleeps 4 ) and the Fournil (4 bedrooms, sleeps 6 to 8 ) have all recently been redecorated and modernised but without spoiling the original features, the wooden beams and stone walls are still there for all to see and admire…

All of our cottages come with, colour TV, DVD player , electric or gas cookers , electric or gas ovens , microwave oven , fridge freezer , washing machine , dishwasher , hoover, iron and ironing board, air ventilators, parasol, BBQ, garden furniture and all kitchen utensils…

A landscaped garden with a fenced off swimming pool with tables chairs and sunloungers, children’s game, ( swings, table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball and football…) and pony trekking are all at your disposal…

Nature lovers can make the most of the many public footpaths, off road cycling , canoeing and fishing after being woken up to a chorus of singing birds, if on the other hand you fancy yourself as a bit of an historian then this is defiantly the place for you, you will be spoilt for choice with the dozens of pre history caves and dwellings and castles from all ages… and at last for those of you that just want to take time out and relax and enjoy the fine wines and exquisite Perigordine cuisine…the Garden of Eden has this and much , much more , so why not check out our web-site: www.gite-vacance-dordogne.com .
