Description of B&B:
This beautifully restored, picturesque 18th century Normandy farmhouse has three guest rooms (two double, one twin) with private bathrooms. Maximum capacity 6-7 guests.Guests have access to a sitting room/library, terraces and gardens equipped with tables and chairs by the side of a small fishing lake.
Our house in the village of Ancinnes is tucked up close to the Forest of Perseigne. This is a wonderful area to explore by car, on foot or by bike.
Shops, a restaurant and bar are within a couple of minutes walk of the B&B. There are some excellent restaurants nearby at Neufchatel en Saosnois and Alençon.
On the border of Normandy and the Sarthe (Pays de Loire) we are 10 minutes from Alençon and the A28, 30 minutes north of Le Mans, 1 hour south of Rouen.
Bordering Lower Normandy and the Sarthe, Alençon is an ideal base from which to explore the Alpes Mancelles to the west; the Orne and Pays d'Auge to the north; the Saösnois, Marollais and the Perche park to the east; and Pays de la Loire to the south.
