Description of Villa Gypsie Gite :

Visit the region
The places to visit are endless. Included, all around the villa Gypsie, picturesque villages Ascain, Sare, Ainhoa Zugaramurdi. On the coast, do not miss Biarritz and St Jean de Luz, of course, but also Hondarribia. Just behind the beach, Bayonne worth visiting for its charming old town. As for San Sebastián / Donostia is a must.

Hiking With over 500 km of trails, the Basque Country is discovered very walkable. It is the route through the countryside, in the woods, on the ridge lines along the coast and even in the depths of canyons or caves. Everywhere you experience a sense of freedom in contact with nature and a large air marked the maritime accents.
We will be happy to show you our favorite walks from the villa Gypsie but also later in the region. Surf

This is in the 1950s that American surfers brought surfing in Europe. This happened at the beach in Biarritz the Basque coast. Today, the spots of the Basque Country, Mundaka in Anglet remain essential for anyone who wants to surf Europe.
schools surf board rentals, surf shops
There are many surf schools and boards can be rented in surf shops or even in the summer, directly on the beach.

Golf Again, the choice is vast. In Biarritz and Bilbao golf courses are centenarians. Biarritz is even paired with Augusta, where every year to play the Masters.
The oldest courses are Biarritz Le Phare (1888)La Nivelle (1907) Chiberta (1927) and Chantaco (1928). Further south, the Royal Golf Club of Hondarribia is the club of Jose Maria Olazabal, twice winner of the Masters green jacket.
career in the Basque Country:

Cycling It is the ubiquitous sport in the Basque Country. You quickly notice the many fans of the little queen. You come across on the road wearing colored jerseys but also bike on the flank of the mountains. The scenery is certainly fascinating, but it should not be afraid of ribs.
