Description of B&B:

We have 3 Chambres D'Hôtes in a Charming 15th century Village House. Situated in the heart of the Marcillac Vallon. This medieval house, built of local 'red' sandstone has 3 double rooms with bathrooms. There is a large terrace to the rear of the house facing into the old medieval village... where your hosts serve breakfast and aperitifs & dinner during the hot summer months.

Description of Gite:

All our bedrooms have private bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a 4'6" (140cm) double bed; Bedroom 2 & 3 both have a 5' (160cm) double bed.

During the months of June through to mid Sept we serve breakfast on our terrace to the rear of the house, with a view of the old village and the onion dome of the 'Manoir'.

Breakfast is served in the continental style with home made jams, a light cake and wholemeal 'pain de mie' bread made by your hosts. There is ham and cheese, fresh fruit, yoghurt and a local bread always available!!

We start your breakast by offering the juice of freshly squeezed oranges followed by a choice of tea, coffee, chocolate or chicory.

For us, the breakfast table is an opportunity to spend time with our guests, to relax, talk, to exchange information about our village and the area, and to make suggestions about places to see and visit.

We provide a meal in the evenings, for guests who request it, either with a reservation or with at least 24 hours notice. The meal will consist of an aperitif, starter, main course, cheese, dessert, coffee and wine will also be included. We do not do lunches! Vegetarians will have to inform us in advance, but can be catered for.

Access :

Near to the route D840 (ex. N140). Half way between Rodez and Decazeville. We are in the centre of the village of Valady opposite the Church.
