Description of B&B:

Well situated just outside the cathedral town of Coutances in the village of Orval, we are close to the beaches at Hauteville sur Mer and Agon Coutainville which has horse riding facilities and a golf course. The historic town of Coutances has a wonderful 13C cathedral, good range of shops along its cobbled streets, together with a good variety of restaurants. To entertain you there are beautiful gardens in the town centre, a swimming pool, bowling and an ice skating rink.

Attached to our house but completely self contained with its own private entrance on the ground floor, there is a large double bedroom with a double bed, en suite shower room, broadband internet access, plus tea and coffee making facilities. A cot can also be provided. Breakfast is served to you in the dining room or directly to you in the bedroom.

The ferry ports at Cherbourg, Caen and Saint Malo are all within a 90 minute drive away and we can offer you discounted ferry fares from Portsmouth and Poole.

Ideal location at any time of the year for a weekend, an overnight
stop or as a base for sightseeing and/or house hunting.
There is also a gîte for 6 people - please enquire for availability.

Excellent séjour. La chambre est spacieuse, aménagée avec goût. Une bouteille d'eau, du thé et du café sont à votre disposition. Salle de bain impeccable. Le petit déjeuner se prend dans une jolie salle attenante à la chambre. Calme olympien.
Le petit déjeuner est très copieux.
Très central à 5 minutes de Coutances.
Les propriétaires sont anglais et tous les deux charmants.
Excellent accueil.

Nous voyageons beaucoup à travers la France et avons l'occasion de fréquenter les chambres d'hôtes. Cet endroit est un petit paradis, allez y, vous y passerez d'excellents moments. L'accueil y est très chaleureux et très cosy (les propriétaires sont anglais...). Votre petit déjeuner sera un moment mémorable : la maîtresse de maison vous servira que des produits faits maison : Pain, confiture..... L'accueil est très soigné : bouteille minérale sur vos tables de nuit, thé, café, lait à votre disposition. Pour les accros d'internet, vous aurez un accès wifi à votre disposition. Bon séjour
