Description:

Description for B&B:

Our house offers 2 double bedrooms; and 2 with either an extra large bed or as a twin, all bedrooms are en-suite and offer panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. We have been awarded 2 epis by Gites de France for our hospitality, standard of care and attention to details.
Although we are in the heart of the countryside, we are a mere hour and a half easy drive from the ferry ports of St Malo and Roscoff and Dinard and Brest airports.
We are also ideally situated for touring: the Granite Rose coast and the embarkation point for Isle de Brehat are 45 minutes away, as too is Finistere with it's breathtaking coastline. The cities of Vannes and L'Orient in Morbihan are a relaxing hour and a half drive through beautiful countryside, passing through many charming villages and small towns en route.
Brittany is steeped in history: the legends of the Celts, King Arthur and, more recently, the Resistance in the last world war can easily be explored; the Breton culture, music and festivals are fascinating to watch and participate in and a warm welcome awaits the tourist.
Brittany has the largest coastline of France, thus fresh fish and seafood feature on many menus in restaurants. The climate is well suited for agriculture and fresh vegetables, eggs, milk and meat raised and grown in Brittany are exported to other parts of France and Europe and Breton restaurants also benefit from this.

Directions

From St Malo, Dinard, Roscoff or Brest take the N12 to Guingamp Centre (La Chesnayes), then going in the direction of Bourbriac (D8) follow the road, through Bourbriac, keeping the Church on your left following signs to Kerien. Just before the village of Kerien take the D28 towards Mael Pestivien for 2 kms. At the crossroads, go right and we are the large granite house on the right with the green shutters. Our car park is opposite the cross.
