Description of B&B:

35 mn from Toulouse and 45 from Carcassonne discover the Catherine de Médicis and Aiceline Baroness bedrooms. Bed and breakfast, in a aristocratic place of the XVIIIth century. Large grounds in the heart of a medieval village. Tank with fountain, old roses and grass. Old church and gardens in St Michel de Lanes.
Personal welcome by the owners for the success of your stay. Typical and nice restaurant in the medieval village. Nearby (5km) the Canal du Midi with remembrance of Thomas Jefferson. Possibal rental of boats (23 km) in the harbour of Castelnaudary (Blue Line) for a shipping on the Canal du Midi.

Access:

1.From the A61 motorway take the Villefranche de Lauragais exit
2.After the motorway toll turn right at the roundabout and right again at the T-junction, direction Gardouch, Nailloux, Auterive
3.After 1 km turn left after the bridge across the Canal du Midi (Gardouch lock), direction Mirepoix, Salles sur l'Hers and St Michel de Lanes
4.Arriving in St Michel de Lanes take the first turning left, direction Barrage sur la Ganguise. The chateau is first on the left after the bridge across the river Hers
