La Fount, Foix

At La Fount, La Maison is a beautifully restored traditional stone house, with outstanding views of the Pyrenees and its own entrance. There is a large private terrace with comfortable garden furniture. The house has original stone walls, wooden beams and authentic furniture. There is a wood burning stove making it cosy for winter holidays. The property is on three levels. The ground floor has a unique reading room, part of the mountain. There is a shower room with washing machine and a seperate toilet. Plenty of storage space.

The first floor has a comfortable kitchen/ dining/ sittingroom and a stereo and plenty of reading material, games etc. and there is a large airy bedroom with great views to the village tower and the mountains. There is a inlaid walnut double bed and a large single sleigh bed. The top floor has a double bed and en-suite shower room.

La Grange is the perfect romantic place for two. The spacious two storey building has a vivd mountain view and a split level private terrace with its own entrance. The ground floor is split level with two sofas and a wood burning stove, steeo and loads of books. The kitchen/ diner has all the usual appliances and washing machine.

The romantic bedroom has a solid oak double bed and seating area, a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams and a spacious en-suite with shower and toilet.

At La Fount we have a policy of no televisions as there's too much to do. As there are steps the properties are not suitable for wheel-chairs or the infirm. Children are welcome, we can provide a cot. We cannot accept pets.

The price includes, electricity, all charges, wood for the stoves, beautiful bed linen (except for the cot), towels and toiletries, barbeque, picnic-basket and a very substantial 'starter pack', enabling you to travel light and not have to stop at the shops on route.

There are always a few luxuries left with our compliments.
