Description of Domaine de Villechaise Gite :We have two houses/gites in the grounds of the chateau.
The Gatehouse stands close to the lake abounding with fish and wildlife, with a boat moored at the waters edge to take you on a gentle row to the folly.
It has three double bedrooms (two ensuite), a twin bedroom, and a separate large bathroom. The kitchen is all electric with microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. The salon has glazed doors leading out to the lawn and terrace, with satellite UK TV, DVD, video and a CD stereo system. A 6.4m diameter solar heated octagonal swimming pool is alongside the terrace for your private enjoyment.
La Petite Maison looks out over the solar heated 8m diameter swimming pool set in a lawn with trees that are centuries old, to the hills and beyond. It has three large double bedrooms and a large twin bedroom, each with antique wash basin and bidet. There are two bathrooms, one with a large bath. The fully fitted kitchen with microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer ajoins a separate dining room. The kitchen has French windows leading out to a private lawn, as does the salon with satellite UK TV, DVD, video and CD stereo.

Directions to Domaine de VillechaiseDomaine de Villechaise is in the hamlet named after it, Villechaise - on the D59 just 3Km south of Confolens on the Limoges Road. Convenient for the shops & restaurants of Confolens and with easy access to Limoges, Poitiers and Angouleme.
From Confolens follow the Limoges signs and cross over the small roundabout.
You will see an equestrian centre on the right and shortly afterwards the road
bends left. At the bend take the D59 to the right and the drive to
Domaine de Villechaise is 1.2km down this road on the left.
If you miss the drive you will find the hamlet of Villechaise and at the crossroads
turn left - the entrance to the chateau is 150m on the right.
