Set in the tiny hamlet of Chez Maugarny, deep in the Charente countryside, La Sonnette bed and breakfast, is welcoming, clean and fresh. Tastefully decorated throughout, with a mix of contemporary and old furniture makes it a pleasant place to stay. Surrounded by undulating countryside it is ideal for ramblers, bird watchers and cyclists for which we have secure storage. Perfectly placed for house hunters too, looking for their own piece of this beautiful landscape. You are greeted by a large lobby area, where you able to sit and relax, this flows into the south facing breakfast/dining room which is light and bright but cool with it's thick stone walls. In this room there is a guest fridge and tea and coffee making facilities, with double doors leading into the garden and views that lead you down to the La Sonnette river in the distance. Evening meals can be enjoyed in the garden, weather permitting. Further seating is found in the lower garden, a place to be calm and tranquil.
