Casa Alfarroba is one of the newer apartment cottages available and the sunniest of the 4 accommodations available in this mini complex and is a peaceful relaxing hideaway. Casa Alfarroba is a light and airy one bedroom apartment cottage ideal for couples or families with a small child.

The bedroom is large with a double bed, and is also large enough to accommodate a childs single sofa bed or cot. There is a digital security safe, sloping ceilings & patio doors leading on to the south-facing sun terrace. The bedroom is tastefully decorated to very high standard in vibrant colours, beautiful throw and crisp bed linen to compliment the décor. The bedroom also has a free standing fan and a 19 inch Toshiba LCD TV with DVD player.

There is a modern bathroom with shower, washbasin with vanity unit under, bidet, WC and shaver point.

The spacious open plan kitchen lounge/diner is decorated tastefully and has a large comfy leather sofa and is simple yet lacks nothing. The lounge has a 32 inch Samsung flat screen LCD TV Satellite TV (UK free to view channels), DVD player (small selection of DVDs available) and a mini stereo Hi-Fi with radio/CD player and MP3 reader (guests to bring own CDs). There is a large selection of English reading books, puzzles, chess set and playing cards. There are patio doors leading onto a private south-facing terrace with a table and chairs, reclining chairs and your own brick built BBQ. You will easily enjoy the sun on this terrace into late evening.

The kitchenette is modern and comed fully equipped and comprises of a fridge with freezer compartment, combi microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee filter machine, hand held electric blender and electric hob.

The casa sleeps a maximum of two adults and a child.

Children are welcome and we do everything possible to ensure that families with children have a holiday that is both fun and relaxing. We understand that holidaying with children and babies can be stressful at times from deciding what to pack or not, to sleeping arrangements and protecting them from the sun. With children of our own we know how important it is to keep kids happy & entertained on holiday, within a safe & secure environment, totally fenced & accessed via electric gates, so a very safe place. There is a lot of space for children to play and to discover nature, play with Alfie, Max and Indie our children loving dog, we have three dogs and one very old cat in total.

Theres a whole range of activities for young ones from the fantastic Zoomarine where you can swim with the dolphins, to Aquashow the best water park in the Algarve, Family Golf park in Vilamoura, karting and all the water activities on the fabulous Algarve beaches and highly recommended sea dolphin watching, a truly superb day out.

The accommodations are all separated from the pool area, the pool area is enclosed & gated to give parents of toddlers that extra piece of mind. All the baby/toddler friendly accommodations also have fencing around their terraces for the added security.

We have something for all age groups with a childrens play area available designed for little ones situated on a large lawned area alongside an orange grove. There is a slide, swings, seesaw, playhouse, toddler slide, toddler trampoline etc, this area adds an exciting dimension for all the visiting children & keeps them occupied for hours. There is also a seating area for adults to relax, unwind and top up their tans. For older children (and adults) we also have a Cornellieu professional size table tennis table & 12ft trampoline.

For babies we have baby paddling pools to use on our pool terrace or your accommodations private terrace and we have endless buckets and spades to take to the beach.

Our location is an oasis of peace and tranquillity perched high on a hilltop 1200 feet above sea level totally fenced and accessed via electric gates overlooking the market town of Loule, only 10 minutes from the blue flag beaches of the Algarve and world famous golf courses and a 15 minute drive from Faro International airport. Our accommodations are a small family run cluster of self catering holiday accommodations catering for couples, families and the over 50s. The accommodations are fully licensed meeting to all requirements by the Portuguese rental law with the required Alojamento Local licence (AL). Loule has everything one would need from a holiday with endless restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, banks, shops, award winning traditional vegetable, fish & vegetable market, famous gypsy market, historical buildings etc. There are also three restaurants within reasonable walking distance of the Quintassential.

The accommodations are open all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival and departure days. Our minimum booking is for three nights.

The cottages are individual originally dating back to the 19th century that was once a farmhouse and over the years has been thoughtfully converted to provide picturesque holiday accommodations. One of the accommodations is occupied by the owners who are there to help, but never infringe on your privacy. Our rustic home from home accommodations are furnished equipped and decorated to a very high standard, with great attention to detail visible in all the accommodations together with little personal touches resulting in good value for money special holiday lets and varied to suit all age groups. All the accommodations are south facing and all have sea views, have their own separate entrances, own kitchens, private south-facing sun terraces and BBQ areas. In all the accommodations there are a selection of puzzles, chess set, dominos, playing cards and a vast selection of English reading books. No group bookings are accepted to ensure that all guests have a truly relaxing and peaceful holiday. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet access available

Outside is blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The gardens at Quintassential, just over an acre, are marvelous and are a flower, shrub and fruit tree haven of peace and tranquility where you can always find a quiet area to read a book, relax and unwind. Added with the breathtaking views of the Algarve coastline by both day and night, this gives location oodles of character, uniqueness and creates a warm friendly relaxing atmosphere for our guests. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil retreat away from it all, but close to all local amenities, our location is perfect and is an ideal base to explore the Algarve whatever your age group.

There is a large pool area; the pool measures 10 x 5 m and sun loungers, parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests. There is also a large raised sun deck poolside to soak up the glorious sun and a freestanding hot tub spa jacuzzi for guest use, especially nice under the stars and moonlight.

Children are welcome and there is a childrens play area with swings, slide, and seesaw all alongside an orange grove. For those guests that are a little more energetic, there is also an outdoor games area with a professional size table tennis table and a 12ft trampoline. For families travelling with small children, we can provide a whole host of baby equipment free of charge, being parents ourselves, we know what it is like travelling with little ones, and our aim is make everyones holiday an enjoyable memorable experience, not stressful.

On arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival in your accommodation will be some local welcome goodies, compliments of the house for guest staying a week or more. For guest staying less than a week or on a special offer, this can be arranged for an additional charge of £20.00 GBP. For all our adult guests bathrobes are provided for use during your stay. Pool towels are also provided for the use of our guests, but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels or these can be hired from us, and in all the accommodations there is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

For an additional charge we can also arrange a pre-arrival shopping service, champagne and strawberries, baby welcome hamper, baby sitting services, spa treatments, beach towel hire and a laundry service. Further information on our website.
