LeTrain Jaune

Le Train Jaune est le moyen le plus inattendu pour acceder au territoire du Parc naturel regional des Pyrenees catalanes. De la vallee de la Tet, ou il escalade la montagne, s'accrche a d'etroites corniches et chevauche les eaux, au plateau Cerdan, le train offre un panorama de paysages exceptionnels ponctue de sites culturels.

English Description:

The Train Jaune (Yellow Train) line is the pride and symbol of the Catalan Pyrenees, bearing its colours, blood yellow and gold. The Train Jaune is the most unexpected way of reaching the area of the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Nature Park. Along its 63 Kms it makes 22 stops, from Villefranche de Conflent to La Tour de Carol Enveitig. Climbing the slopes of the Tet valley it clings to narow ledges and spans torrents and then you reach the Cerdan plateau and its panorama of unique landscapes and cultural sites.
