Anita and Paul welcome you to Mirabelle Bed and Breakfast with cottage located in the beautiful Dordogne within a short distance of Hautefort; famous for it’s fairytale chateau; and also the Tourtoirac Cave.Sleeping up to 4 people in a cottage originally built in 1784 but recently renovated to provide a high standard of accommodation, whilst retaining many of it’s period features.
Relax within the secluded hillside gardens enjoying views over the rural French countryside.
Description for Gite
The cottage has been renovated to a high standard throughout.Many period features have been incorporated into its decoration to provide a lovely ambiance where one can relax and enjoy the tranquillity of it’s setting.
The property consists of two bedrooms each with their own en-suite and private toilet. Given prior notice one of the bedrooms can be provided with either two single or one double bed. The bedrooms are positioned on the ground floor, which ensures they are cool throughout the hot summer months. Both have magnificent south easterly views down the valley.
On the second floor you will find a lounge, dining room and fully equiped kitchen to provide a stress free holiday
The cottage has a decked area to its upper entrance where one can find all the necessary facilities for al fresco dinning, barbecue and secluded sunbathing. In a shaded part of the garden is a games area providing badminton, swingball, outdoor chess and swings.

Directions
Leave the A20 at Brive and follow the A89, direction of Perigueux, to the exit for La Bachellerie / Thenon (Junction 17). At the motorway exit roundabout, turn right for Perigueux and follow this road for a short distance until you reach the second roundabout. Take the first exit signed for Saint Rabier / Hautefort (D 704). Follow this road through Saint Rabier and for another 11. 5 km on towards Hautefort. When you see an arial mast on the left about 1 km before ST Agnan, take the road to the left opposite the Hotel Perigord Noir signed for Maumont. Stay on this road and keep left, which after 200m decends down for approx 1.5 km . At the bottom you arrive at a cross roads with a sign for Maumont, however you must turn sharp right for Les Chareaux. Mirabelle is the first house on the left situated above the road with a large wooden terrace.

If you are approaching from Bordeaux along the A89 continue in direction Brive La Gaillarde, until you reach the exit for La Bachellerie / Thenon (Junction 17) and then take the same directions as above from the roundabout at motorway exit.
