There are many quiet roads around the village, ideal for walking or cycling, and it's possible to canoe on the nearby river Sienne, which joins the estuary at Le Pont de la Roque. In addition to the long stretches of sandy beaches, there is a casino, golf course and horse riding at Agon Coutainville. Golf courses also at St Martin de Bréhal and Granville. Ferries from Granville to the islands of Chausey and Jersey. D Day WWII Landing Beaches within a 30 minute drive.
Local boulangerie delivers bread, croissants etc. to village centre (2 minutes' walk) 6 days a week

comfortably furnished sitting room with a sofa and 4 armchairs, TV (both from UK and France), DVD/Video Players plus a good selection of films. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, gas cooker, microwave, washing machine. The dining area has a dining table, 6 chairs, highchair; glazed doors lead out to patio area and garden. Also on the ground floor there is a bedroom with an extra long single bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and its own ensuite shower plus washbasin and wc. We can now provide you with a wireless broadband Internet connection. A pushchair, highchair, cot, baby bath and changing mat are also provided.
Easy stairs lead to the first floor where there is a shower room with shower, wash basin and wc, and two further bedrooms, one with a large double bed, (150 cms) and the other with 2 single divan beds (90 cms) which can be made into a king size bed if preferred. A stair gate, cot and highchair available if required.
Private, lawned garden with trees and shrubs, table and chairs, BBQ and swings for children. Covered garden room with wc and access to parking area. The house is centrally heated and is available all year round. The resident owners live in adjoining property, completely independent from the cottage, with their own garden and parking area.
The prices below are inclusive of electricity and hot water, and during the low season, central heating is also included. From October to March the second week of a two week holiday is offered at half price, or for 80 € a night for a minimum of 3 - 5 nights, depending on the season. Bed linen is available as an optional extra.

Approx. 5kms from Coutances on the D971 you will see a sign to ORVAL on the right hand side. Turn right here; go over the railway crossing, bearing right where the road bends round to the left. Just ahead there is a grassy area on the right, a small road to the left with a tennis court and a war memorial on the left, and our property is straight ahead, with the No. 11 on the gable end wall.
