Bed and breakfast in the seaside town of Aldeburgh on the beautiful Suffolk coast. Good for walking and out door activites. Aldeburgh has great restaurants and good shops.

B&B Description:

The house was built by Newson Garrett, father of Elizabeth Garrett Anderson and Millicent Fawcett in 1893. It has a big garden and generous sized rooms and is situated in a private road in the quieter part of the town opposite the tennis courts and the bowling green. The footpath beyond the front gate leads to the marshes and the river 10 mins away. In the other direction Aldeburgh high street and the beach are less than 10 mins walk. Great breakfasts with own eggs and locally resourced ingredients. "Fabulous house, decor, art, pottery. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. Felt completely at ease. Would recommend wholeheartedly. Have had to stay in hotels and B&Bs all over the country and this is decidedly the best yet" Joyce and Eric, London.
