Description for B&B:L'Ancienne Bergerie is a former "sheep barn" which has been lovingly renovated, keeping its charm by using natural, organic and locally sourced materials; thus providing comfortable accommodation in an idyllic location. Our 4 en-suite bedrooms are spacious, with three rooms offering king sized beds and the forth with a double and a single bed. Window armchairs overlook the valley where our guests may enjoy the use of their tea and coffee facilities. Bath and hand towels are provided in each bathroom.
Our guests can relax and dine on the terrace which overlooks the valley, woodlands and Romanesque church at Terrefete, or move indoors to the living area and relax in the lounge. We offer a 4 course "Table d'hôte" evening meal to our guests, using home grown produce from our vegetable garden, wild food gathered from a plentiful harvest and local artisan produce, accompanied with our own home reared pork and lamb.
We are ideally situated for those who enjoy the outdoors, be it gentle walks through the valley and villages, or the higher routes of the GR10. Cycling is also a popular activity, following part of the route of the Tour de France or VTT through the forest of the Bellongue valley. Or simply relax in the grounds of L'Ancienne Bergerie.
We have free WIFI, cards, board games, books and local magazines for our guests to enjoy during their stay.
