331 Chemin De La Capucine, Lagnes, 84800

Under the heat and in the light of the Provençal sun, in a country haunted by the memory of the troubadours, in a countryside cradled by the song of the cicadas, is nestled at the foot of the Monts de Vaucluse the small village of Lagnes and its castle of XIII century.
In this city, in a place called "La Capucine", name taken from the monks who stayed there,
Jean-Paul and Marina warmly welcome you in their guest rooms.

Fantastic, just do it !

During our 10 days stay in July 2018 in La Capucine we had a great holiday. La Capucine is a fantastic B&B. We had room Cardamome - which is the biggest room with separate bath & shower, balcony with view on the lovely garden and great swimming pool. The beds are comfortable and the rooms silent which guarantees you a good nights sleep. Everything is very clean. The breakfast is good with own products of the hosts their own chickens (eggs) and garden (homemade jam, fig and citron cakes,). The location is perfect: a few hundred meters from the main road so its very quiet when walking through the garden or lying beside the swimming pool. Its located nearby all the beautiful typical Provence villages and the bigger cities (Avignon, Arles, Orange). Even the Mont Ventoux is only 40 minutes away. Jean-Paul and Marina are the perfect hosts. They are charming, helpful and do everything they can to please you while keeping enough distance so they give you as a guest enough living space. Lagnes is a small village where is nothing much to do but thats not a problem at all because the nice villages Fontaine de Vaucluse (5 minutes) and LIsle sur la Sorgue (10 minutes) are nearby and there are plenty of places where you can eat well at a decent price. Normally we dont go more than once to the same location but La Capucine is certainly a place where we will return.
