Nigel and Nicola look forward to welcoming you to their beautiful home in the heart of the village of Brux.
We have a total of 3 guest rooms available.
The Atelier is a wonderfully romantic suite furnished with a SuperKing sized bed, antique furniture, chandeliers and a feature vaulted ceiling. It has a flat screen TV showing both French and English channels.There is also a stunning feature bathroom and w/c. (minimum 2 night stay).
Bluebird is a large double room with Four Poster King sized bed dressed with lovely linens and quilts, dressing table and antique armoire, there is also a flat screen TV showing both French and English channels. Large windows ensure a light and airy atmosphere as well as giving a great view point of the historic 11th century church. There is an en suite shower room with generous sized shower cubicle, antique, marble topped washstand with ceramic basin, w/c and a heated towel rail.
Flora is also a double room with a King Sized bed dressed with lovely linens and quilts, chest of drawers, hanging hooks and flat screen TV with both French and English channels. This room overlooks the garden. There is a fresh ensuite shower room with generous shower cubicle, vintage washstand with ceramic basin, w/c and heated towel rail.
Each room is centrally heated to ensure a cosy stay during the winter and fans can be provided during the hot summer months.
We offer a French breakfast of cereal, pastries, bread, jams, juice, hot drinks, fruit, this is included in the price of your accommodation.
In addition, we would be delighted to prepare for you a 3 course evening meal, including wine to accompany and this is available by advance booking and at an additional charge. We are very enthusiastic cooks and all food is home prepared and cooked and seasonal, we source as many ingredients locally, as we possibly can, using local producers and markets. We already have many fruit trees and grow our own herbs and are in the process of creating a vegetable garden to supply the kitchen with our own produce.
During your stay you will be free to take advantage of our gardens to relax in, we have several shaded spots and seating areas so that guests can sit and enjoy a welcome afternoon cup of tea or glass of wine or a pre dinner aperitif.
We do have a friendly older dog but sadly we are not able to accept visiting pets of any kind..
The property is well placed for easy access to transport links, the major non toll route from north to south (N10), being just 5 Km away, making it the perfect place to break your journey if you are travelling further South or to extend your holiday a little if you are on your return journey. There are many places of interest locally and brochures and further information and advice can be given on sites you may wish to visit. Free Wifi is provided for you should you need to check out local information for yourself, once you arrive. This accommodation is for adults only, we do not accept children.
