The Santa Maria "gîtes" are two twin guesthouses each accommodating 6 people, fully equipped (see full description), with access to a large pool. They are popular with guests for the peace and relaxation they provide, just 600 meters from the village where all the shops and essential services are available. Macinaggio being located at the far end of the road along the eastern coast of Cap Corse, the Santa Maria guesthouses are an ideal base for exploring the rugged beauty of the Cap Corse and the rich heritage and history of this little known Cap Corse.Description for Gite
Rentals are by the week, from Saturday 12h am to the following Saturday 10h am. As a result, the exact dates of the different tariff periods vary depending on the calendar each year.Each of the two "gîtes" is fully equipped, and includes: 1 terrace, 1 large 160cm-width double-bed room, 1 living and dining room with a table a two-place sofa bed, 1 mezzanine with two single beds, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom and WC.
Each of the two gîtes includes also storage spaces, reversible air conditioning, TNT flat screen TV, all small households appliances for cooking and cleaning, fridge freezer, dishwater, washing machine, bed linen and towels being provided, and in addition free-parking and hanging out area just attached to the guesthouse, as well as free access to the swimming pool of the owner and his family.

From Bastia, through the center of the village of Macinaggio along the harbor, and after leaving the port continue until high school group (100m) and turn right immediately after. Follow the paved path on nearly 600 m, passing first a first cross (caution as lack of visibility) and after 50 m ahead, after passing a yellow building on the right (old barn), leave the paved road and turn left to take the stony path that leads to the Casa Santa Maria (first yellow stucco house on the right) to park in the parking lot.
Coming from the west coast of the cape by Centuri, Ersa, Rogliano: arriving in Macinaggio, get up to the school group, turn left before and then follow the same indications as above.
