La Casita is the most characteristic of all the accommodations , a one bedroom rustic cottage tastefully decorated and boasting many original features from the old Quinta (farmhouse).

This casita has simple traditional Algarvian style décor, featuring white washed walls and accent coloured walls, sloping cane ceilings with timber beams and many hand painted wall plates hanging around the cottage, all adding to the ambiance of the real Algarve. The casita is rich in style and character with wonderful Algarvian charismatic furniture all adding to its magic. This is very much a rustic cottage with modern comforts. Being part of the original farmhouse with its high sloping ceilings and thick walls, this cottage is always cool in the summer and warm in winter. This cottage is a real quaint oasis for adults, the ultimate peaceful and tranquil accommodation.

The bedroom has a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe, sloping cane ceilings with wooden beams. The bedroom is decorated in soothing pastel colours of aqua and peach. There is also a free standing fan in the bedroom. Immediately next to the bedroom there is a large alcove area with further storage/shelves and a safe deposit box.

The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a tiled seating area within it, sink with vanity unit under, WC and marble flooring. The "crows nest" TV lounge area has a sloping cane ceiling with wooden beams and has spectacular views, a mini Hi-Fi stereo with radio/CD player and MP3 reader (guests to bring own CDs). There is a comfy leather sofa suite with leather footstool and a 19-inch LG LCD flatscreen TV with UK free to view Satellite TV channels and a DVD player with a small selection of DVDs for guest use. There are a selection of puzzles, chess set, playing cards, dominos and a vast selection of English reading books. This accommodations houses over 100 English reading books. The Crows Nest TV lounge is accessed by the original rustic stone stairs. For guests with walking difficulties to be aware of the rustic staircase.

The kitchen dining area has the original bread oven dating back to the 19th century and stone sink from the Quinta and also the original cane ceiling with wooden beams. The rustic kitchen comes fully equipped and comprises of a large fridge/freezer, combi microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, coffee filter machine, hand held electric blender and gas hob. There is a marvelous antique pine dresser dressed with traditional Algarvian pottery plates, bowls etc for your use during your stay. The Algarvian mosaic tile topped dining table comfortably seats two people on traditional hand painted Portuguese chairs, these are a dream to look at, the craftsmanship is amazing. From the kitchen dining area there are doors leading on to a completely private south-facing terrace with brick built BBQ, table and chairs and reclining chairs for al fresco dining and for those lazy days and evenings comfy cushioned seating under the covered terrace.

There is also a wood burning stove for the cooler winter evenings that really makes this cottage very cosy and provides 24/7 heating during the winter months along with an eco wall heater in the kitchen diner and an oil filled radiator in the bedroom.

The casita also has its own private garden with your own private sun loungers and parasol which is for the sole use of the guests in the casita and within this garden area there is a further seating area surrounded by an abundance of beautiful flowers, shrubs and many various species of cacti. There is also a large covered terrace with a cane ceiling and wooden beams now with comfy cushioned seating for added comfort. Colourful Morning Glory drapes the exterior. Outside there is also al fresco dining table, cushioned chairs, parasol and reclining chairs. From the cottage terrace you will experience some of the best sunsets the Algarve has to offer, now there is the added bonus of its very own private spa jacuzzi too.

The location is an oasis of peace and tranquillity perched high on a hilltop 1200 feet above sea level totally fenced and accessed via electric gates overlooking the market town of Loule, only 10 minutes from the blue flag beaches of the Algarve and world famous golf courses and a 15 minute drive from Faro International airport. The accommodations are a mini holiday complex of small family run cluster of self catering holiday accommodations catering for couples, families and the over 50s. Loule has everything one would need from a holiday with endless restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, banks, shops, award winning traditional vegetable, fish & vegetable market, famous gypsy market, historical buildings etc. There are also three restaurants within reasonable walking distance .

The accommodations are open all year round so that guests can enjoy the 3000 hours of sunshine the Algarve has to offer. We understand that with low cost airlines it may be better to travel on days other than Sunday or Thursday, so we are flexible with our arrival and departure days. Our minimum booking is for five nights.

The cottages are individual , originally dating back to the 19th century that was once a farmhouse and over the years has been thoughtfully converted to provide picturesque holiday accommodations. One of the accommodations is occupied by the owners who are there to help, but never infringe on your privacy. Our rustic home from home accommodations are furnished equipped and decorated to a very high standard, with great attention to detail visible in all the accommodations together with little personal touches resulting in good value for money special holiday lets and varied to suit all age groups. All the accommodations are south facing and all have sea views, have their own separate entrances, own kitchens, private south-facing sun terraces and BBQ areas. In all the accommodations there are a selection of puzzles, chess set, dominos, playing cards and a vast selection of English reading books. No group bookings are accepted to ensure that all guests have a truly relaxing and peaceful holiday. There is also free Wi-Fi Internet access available

Outside is blessed with panoramic sea views and spectacular countryside views, just what you need for a tranquil and relaxing holiday. The gardens, just over an acre, are marvelous and are a flower, shrub and fruit tree haven of peace and tranquility where you can always find a quiet area to read a book, relax and unwind. Added with the breathtaking views of the Algarve coastline by both day and night, this gives location oodles of character, uniqueness and creates a warm friendly relaxing atmosphere for our guests. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil retreat away from it all, but close to all local amenities, our location is perfect and is an ideal base to explore the Algarve whatever your age group.

There is a large pool area; the pool measures 10 x 5 m and sun loungers, parasols etc are provided for the use of the guests. There is also a large raised sun deck poolside to soak up the glorious sun and a freestanding hot tub spa jacuzzi for guest use, especially nice under the stars and moonlight.

On arrival the owners will meet you and awaiting your arrival in your accommodation will be some local goodies, compliments of the house for guest staying a week or more. For guest staying less than a week or on a special offer, a generous welcome hamper can be arranged for an additional charge of £20.00 GBP. For all our adult guests bathrobes are provided for use during your stay. Pool towels are also provided for the use of our guests, but guests are asked to bring their own beach towels or these can be hired from us, and in all the accommodations there is a hairdryer, iron and ironing board.
